In 2001, CBHL completed a major planning process. A strategic planning model was used to develop a long-range plan and define the vision, mission and core values of the organization.
In addition to committee meetings and electronic discussions, the Strategic Planning Committee also used member surveys, postings in the CBHL Newsletter, on the website and the online distribution list, and other means of sharing ideas and soliciting feedback from CBHL members.
A revision of the strategic plan is back on the drawing board for 2014 and beyond.
